Terms of Service
Last updated: October 13, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
By scheduling services, submitting quote requests, or using the Plumbing 405 website (plumbing405.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services
Plumbing 405 connects customers with independent service providers for residential and commercial plumbing needs throughout Greater Los Angeles and Orange County, California. The named independent provider is responsible for its quote, service contract and work. These website terms and the technician worksheet do not replace that provider’s job-specific contract.
We reserve the right to decline any service request at our discretion.
3. Estimates and Pricing
Written estimates are provided at no charge and are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Actual costs may vary from estimates based on unforeseen conditions discovered during work. Any changes in scope will be communicated to you and require your approval before proceeding.
A free written estimate does not mean every visit or assessment is free. Limited-time promotion: normal $89 diagnostic / call-out fee waived to $0 for regular Monday–Friday visits, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Pacific; the last regular window is 3–5 p.m. A weekday arrival before 9 a.m. booked more than 24 hours ahead is also $0. For weekday arrivals before 9 a.m., the $199 assessment applies ONLY to a request received before 7 a.m. for service before 9 a.m. that same morning; other scheduled weekday morning visits are $0. Use the recorded request time, not the current time or when a plumber calls back. Evening visits from 5 p.m., weekends, and explicitly requested emergency/priority service at other times retain the same $199 assessment, not stacked fees. Calling early does not make a later regular weekday visit chargeable. Explain $199 and obtain conditional agreement before checking priority availability; if declined, offer to check for a technician willing to waive the visit fee. The assigned plumber must confirm availability and explicitly approve $199 or a $0 waiver where applicable, then the customer accepts the exact offer. No approval or waiver is needed to establish the $0 scheduled-morning rate, but availability and customer booking acceptance are still required. Repairs and materials are separate.
Coupons and promotional pricing must be presented before work begins and cannot be applied retroactively.
4. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been agreed upon in writing. We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards. Financing is available for qualifying projects — ask for details at time of estimate.
Returned checks are subject to a $35 returned check fee. Accounts past 30 days may be subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge.
5. Workmanship Warranty
We stand behind our work. Our standard workmanship warranty covers defects in labor for a period of one (1) year from the date of service completion, unless otherwise specified in writing. This warranty covers defects in our workmanship only and does not cover damage resulting from misuse, neglect, acts of nature, or pre-existing conditions unrelated to our work.
Parts and fixtures carry the manufacturer's warranty, which we will assist you in processing if needed.
6. Appointments and Cancellations
We request at least 2 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a non-emergency appointment. Same-day cancellations may result in a trip fee for any costs already incurred. Emergency service calls dispatched and cancelled upon technician arrival may be subject to a trip charge.
7. Access to Property
By scheduling service, you authorize the assigned independent service provider to access the agreed-upon areas of your property for the purpose of performing the agreed plumbing services. You represent that you have the authority to grant such access. Property access does not grant permission to publish photos or videos.
8. Limitation of Liability
Plumbing 405's liability for any claims arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use or loss of profits.
9. California Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Los Angeles County, California.
10. Contact
11. Optional Photo and Video Marketing Permission
Marketing permission is optional and separate from service approval. Signing a service agreement, approving a price sheet, uploading job media or accepting these terms does not by itself authorize public marketing use. Declining permission does not change your service, price, scheduling or warranty.
The optional permission section in our printable service paperwork asks for a Yes or No choice covering marketing on our website, social media and advertisements, followed by a signature and initials. A blank or conflicting choice is not permission. Previously granted channel-specific permissions remain limited to those choices. Before any use, we must retain the signed choice and have the necessary rights from the media creator.
A person must review media for identifying details before publication. Recognizable people or voices, contact details, addresses, license plates, documents, security details and location metadata must not be published without separate appropriate permission. Customer permission does not authorize use of another person’s likeness or voice.
You may withdraw marketing permission by calling (310) 218-1796 or using our contact form. After receiving a withdrawal, new uses must stop and company-controlled online copies must be removed within a reasonable time; already-distributed print materials and third-party copies may not be fully retrievable. Applicable legal rights are not waived.
Download the service worksheet with the optional permission section. This is a draft for legal review before use, not a replacement for the provider’s service contract.
